Take Away the Worry, a site to empower, educate and protect families, recognizes that women’s influence in financial matters has grown considerably in recent years, with nine out of ten of us participating in or directing the financial decisions that affect our households.

Yet other studies have shown that over half of us do not feel confident about our financial decision-making skills or knowledge base. In addition, women frequently face unique challenges when managing their financial lives as a result of having to simultaneously manage often-complex family and personal lives.

This website is an information-rich environment in which visitors, especially women, can feel welcomed and can find information that is accessible, helpful, insightful and personal (yet not intrusively so).

The website provides easy-to-use financial information and confidence-building fiscal insights to empower women during various life stages. It is designed to be informative, engaging, and fun. Its goal is to help Take Away the Worry as you journey through life and all of its stages.

Organized around five life-stage categories – Singles, Single Parents, Couples With Kids, Couples Without Kids, and Empty Nest and Beyond – the website offers numerous topic areas appropriate to each life stage. For example, Couples with Kids includes career planning, college planning, financial issues, home and auto, raising a family, and retirement.

Within each area, informative Hot Topics address your specific needs at the most critical life moments. Each article offers opportunities to access increasingly detailed levels of information so you can always decide how much, or how little, information you want, and when.

In addition, the site includes an expansive Resource Center, which has additional online links to help encourage the success of women in financial and family matters. The Resource Center is simply a deeper level of information, which we plan to refresh and expand continuously for your benefit.
